Basalt is Different Pixel internal engine. We developed it as a base for our games, currently supports Windows, Mac, iPhone/iPad/ipod Touch
After a few months I finally had the time to make how multi-platform the engine really is and decided to grab Vizati code and make it run on Mac.

So a few months after we made Basalt run on iOS I decided to see if the engine would behave nicely on Windows and MacOSX.
Since we already had Vizati running on Windows I decided to grab the iPhone code and compile it for MacOSX. Surprise surpise, it works :)
I've only tested it on my Mini Mac but it should run on PPC and Intel Processors on MacOS 10.4+
I've submitted it to the Mac App Store, hopefully there aren't many bugs :P
