Basalt is pretty much turned to 2D only since we haven't had the need to make 3D games till now.

Any chance someone could get early access to your engine? Maybe even contribute to its development?
I've been considering that but it's still too early. Most of the codebase is still a little messy and I still have some concepts and patterns I would like to implement before releasing any version.
