VERSION 3.0 CHANGELOG - Diplomacy - Formations - Beer Drinking - Hunting - Foraging skill(more skills to come) - Lav's companion Overseer - Ability to sell prisoners to Manhunters - Lord indictment spiral fixed - Wife as companion - Companion as emissary/spy - Many new items, almost all item categories(helmets, armour, shields) overhauled, edited and changed - Completely new troops, everyone has been changed, with emphasis on spearmen and axemen and with the thought that only a few could afford mail armour and swords. - New textures - A couple of amazing forts to pillage and conquer, made by Dykjozo - New map icons - Authentic settlement names, with the help of researchers, I got rid of fictional/modern names And many more! Sorry for the delay, but I was involved in a lot of projects, not counting real life stuff.

The green faction's huscarls don't have any boots...

Vikings is the modern name for Norsemen, Just sayin. but you are right in that Vikings mean that one is going to plunder. :)
I believe viking meant to go for a walk or a raid, as a word. :)
The word "Viking' derives from the old norse 'vikingr', which means to go on a voyage for Odin.
man you can change this yourself just download morgh you can customize the troops and the items and give any troop a specific item there is a few more that you could use

Eh, more or less. Historical accuracy in factions is something I worked on, but still lacked proper info. I had some for Norvnegr, Halogaland(which was just a petty kingdom, btw) and Prodalog. The rest are subject to change. :)

Thank you, glad you like it. As for updates, I will post more, of course, new features and such. And as for my other mods, Fires of War is released in Taleworlds, but I have some problem with the scenes. :)
I do not belittle your labor, but I'm disappointed.I personally expected more valuable changes approaching more to mod Vikingr,also possible naval battles.
That will happen too, eventually. Currently, the existing OSP script for Naval battles in Warband is not the best. I hear Viking Conquest has good naval battles, but I don't own this game and I don't know if the authors released the codes.

Still, my opinion is that a lot of other things limp and apparently unfinished. It just is not anything better than the previous version (my opinion) and Uppsala castle is one example.

I like the mode very much.But it could be better,Where is the freelancer?
Where is the in Command list Shield wall?And why not full lodbrok family?And and again why ''King Ragnar'' It is not like Travis Fimmel.The soldiers could be more viking(just like painted faces Wild warriors berserker)They should add more types of soldiers and be more beautiful.

Good mod, but your geographics knowledge is slighty rusty, ventspale castle should be placed on top of palanga and visby is an island also palanga and ventspale was Cour rullership, not danish, and dansih and nords were afraid of them as they were ruthless warriors. They burned Stockholm to ground
