some feedback and questions:
why is the nord spearman half naked? is that intended or is my copy bugged?

if you are going for realism in relation to medieval warfare, then there shouldn't be an under equipped infantry class, ie. the peasent class, you'd have to be stupid to show up without at the very least a shield and something to bash you enemy over the head with. so if you are going for historical realism then i'd suggest giving them a shield/spear/hatchet (or some other simple tool) combo to at least be able to fight back in melee.

contnuing along that line of thought, i'd suggest making spears a common weapon for the average footman/militia in addition to some crude close melee weapon. from a historical standpoint, the spear was central to the medieval battlefield, because of it's low prise and ease of use, same goes for axes, though possibly a bit more expensive than a spear.

also, just to make promotion a bit more difficult for the players, and for the sake of fun increase the required xp, add a 'renown' wall to the higher ranks, like knights and housecarls, something like a mix of brytenwalda and anno 1257.

and a bug i encountered while serving in some lord's army, was that the army i served in refused to attack the walls, just standing around looking though, but doing nothing. not sure if that is just a problem on my end or what that is.

anyway, this is a good mod, and i think i will enjoy playing it, thanks

Great mod Chazzer, been following it for awhile, and so glad its finally out. This is one of my favorite mods ive played, so i feel obligated to report bugs i come across

-When i built my own personal fort, the market place had no vendors, and it crashed when i pressed "take a walk around"
-Everyones heads look down during menus

Are the towns that are not done still functional? like the vanilla version?

May i recommend adding in the decapitation mod?

The units are pathetic if you want to make a realistic mod atleast add 15 units to each faction also the armor and equipment you added in there is old and has been used in hundreds of other mods note that armor and equipment is what makes a mod great so please scrap your current plans and focus on armor and equipment because your mod is not going anywhere is you use 80% of the vanilla units and armor all your hard work will goto nothing, also try to contact the author of "A New Dawn" mod thats an example of a mod full of attractive armor but unfortunately his mod is unbalanced if you manage to get hold of their files and add it to your mod and try to mix it with your "realistic" combat rebalance your mod would be ranked number one a week after release.

Man, this mod is awesome, you made a great job!

So I've played this mod for around 60 hours and I have noticed a lot of things I think is good, and some things that needs an improvement.

I will only write the bad things.

The thing I think that needs an improvement is the unit tree for some faction. Example the Vaegirs.
First of all I dont think the varity of different units in the Vaegirs is big enough. The Swadian and Nords are really good, but I think the Vaegirs is poor. Maybe one unit more of cav, and of infantry.

Also the Vaegirs armor is a bit awful. They dont have the best vaegir armor there is, which I think is a same.

But this mod so far, is one of the best I've played.

mod is simply amazing!
My rating 9.5/10 if the action took place at the time of the Vikings ,gave it I quietly 10:D
