Gabe, prove us wrong and give us a smack across the head with these games released at the same date:
Half-Life 3
Portal 3 (maybe combine half life and portal since they are in the same universe)
Left 4 dead 3 and
Team Fortress 3
maybe give them for free for people who bought the complete valve pack?
Better idea
They are COMPLETELY out of franchises to prolong.
So... Orange Box 2.
Only call them "New Half Life" "New L4D" etc.
EVERY GAME CAN GO TO 4.
3 NEVER USED.
but you know, if they somehow do, theyll probably realease it as the orange box 2 or the bluebox, the even oranger box. something like that.
Just imagine it. The orange box 2nd edition (comes with cs:go, hl3, p3, l4d3, and tf3)
id probably give my computer a virus from extreme awsomeness
Gabe gabe gabe, you know when i download them at the same time they will destroy my computer :C
The problem now is that when Valve made Half-Life 2, it was a massive step-up from Half-Life 1, with entirely new and intuitive gameplay and one of the best video game engines to-date. That was 2004, it's hard to believe that in a matter of six years, Valve completely changed the face of the video game industry. Which means that there's immense pressure on them for the release of Half-Life 3. If Valve want to make as big an impression on us all as they did with Half-Life 2, it may take a long time for the game to come out. I'm happy waiting for the game, 'cause if it's half as impressive as Half-Life 2, then I'll be more than happy.
despit wanting all of those games to come out, the only one that we really need at this point is half-life 3 (or ep. 3). left 4 dead 2 and team fortress 2 are still being updated, along with portal 2 which only came out less than 2 years ago. and nobody really cares about dod
They have never created a game that has continued until the third game. EC:portal, portal 2, half life ep 1, half life ep 2, half life 2 ep 1, half life 2 ep 2,left 4 dead, left for dead 2,still no game created by Valve that continues to 3... Valve learn to count to 3!!!
What was Gabe called?
Tovarisch Gabe'achev.
No, im sorry that was a win.
