History
The roots of this privately held company are in the Frustum open source project, which was initiated in 2002 by Alexander "Frustum" Zaprjagaev, who is currently a co-founder (along with Denis Shergin, CEO) and CTO of Unigine Corp.
Since the foundation in 2005, the main activity of Unigine Corp. is the development of Unigine™, a cross-platform engine for virtual 3D worlds.

Besides constantly introducing further updates of the Unigine engine, the team has worked up various Unigine-powered projects with breathtaking visuals, including "Heaven", the first and widely acclaimed DirectX 11 benchmark in the world. At present the team is developing an Oil Rush naval strategy game planned for release in the nearest future.
