The Position:

NeoCrux is currently looking for a Unity3D C# Programmer to help build its current game GalaCollider, for target platforms based on the Unity framework. GalaCollider is cross-platform game that innovates by combining the card genre with real-time and turn-based strategy elements into an exciting space-exploration experience with rich story and intuitive multiplayer gameplay.

We are looking for an eager candidate who is capable of implementing game functionality and translating design ideas, concepts, and requirements into a functional and engaging game.

Job Description:

As a member of NeoCrux, you’ll be required to perform the following tasks as required, including but not limited to:

- Implement game functionality as per communicated design.
- Translate design specification into functional game.
- Communicate with other team members to establish effective pipeline and integrate media assets.
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to address and mitigate these problems.
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.

Job Qualifications:

- Quick learner, self-motivated, extremely detail-oriented with strong problem solving skills.
- Ability to work accurately under tight deadlines and manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
- Must be able to communicate over Skype and work in an online environment, including the ability to attend weekly meetings.
- Able to work independently and within a small team.
- Working knowledge of the card game and turn-based strategy genres.
- Excellent knowledge of Unity, including experience with one or more of the following: scripting, textures, animation, and user session management.
- Proficient knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git.

The below qualifications are desirable, but not required:

- Translating designs into game GUI elements, linking the GUI up to the code and testing.
- Familiarity with level design and planning.
- Experience with game physics and particle systems.
- Experience with mobile and console game development.
- Experience optimizing memory and space usage for support of older hardware.
- Experience with 3D.
- Experience implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests.
