Arrogant Pixel company

Arrogant Pixel is a small team of eight game developers based in South West London. Our ultimate goal is to deliver unexpected and genre subverting gaming experiences with a lot of heart. We aim to make award winning, chart-topping games that stand out from the crowd. Growing up in the early 90s, we were playing some of the greatest ‘point and click’ adventure games of all time. Our latest game series “The Tale of Doris and the Dragon” is our homage to the genre. As an independent company, we have self-funded this project. Currently, we are working on some new and exciting IPs that we can't wait to release onto the world!

Early history

Arrogant Pixel was originally the sole trader company name founded in 2012 by Ben Simpson. At the time, he was freelancing as a web developer and taking on various part-time warehouse jobs in order to hone his skills as a programmer and game designer. During this time, he started many different projects with various teams.

After that

In 2015, the company was formally incorporated with the addition of two more members, Assad Bokhari and Jay Shin. The directorship then grew to include Ryan Callard and a new member of staff, the incredible digital artist, Safiyah Khan (also known as DarkLitria).

More recently, we have been joined by Pedro Ramos, an amazingly talented programmer and automation tester, 3D artist, Kerry Scane and we invited back a former work experience lad, Ali Taie to help us in the audio department! Welcome aboard new Pixelites!
