Mercatorio is entering the final week of the early-access test-run this weekend. The test-run officially ends on April 7th, when a winner will be called. While latecomers now have slim chances to compete for the lead, there's still time to establish a small enterprise and perhaps start forming a strategy for season 1. As the wealthiest inhabitants of the Mercatorio universe are holding large feasts and putting up churches and cathedrals left and right, it creates opportunities for those on the lower rungs. Massive amount of resources are currently being thrown at vanity projects and activities, and even vast business empires may not be able to internally supply it all themselves.

Check out their towns for price distortions that can be exploited or hit them up directly on discord to see if a lucrative deal can be struck.

Season 1

The next phase of the journey starts on April 19th, when season 1 kicks off. There will be a new map and new opportunities. More details will be announced closer to the start-date, so stay tuned. Season 1 will be a paid season, with tickets costing 20 euros (-30% for test-run participants).
